STAGE 1
Our stage 1 ECU remaps are a performance tuning modification for a vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU), designed to optimise the vehicle’s engine performance without any hardware changes. This remap involves adjusting the software parameters that control the engine's fuel-air mixture, timing, boost pressure (for forced induction vehicles), and other performance related settings.
The goal of our stage 1 remaps are to enhance the vehicle’s power, torque, and throttle response, resulting in noticeable improvements in acceleration, drivability, and overall performance. This is typically achieved by fine-tuning the engine's parameters to work more efficiently within the existing stock components.
A Stage 1 remap is usually the first step for enthusiasts looking for increased performance, and it is considered very safe because it works within the vehicle’s stock limitations, without the need for additional modifications. This process typically takes from 1 to 3 hours.
While it’s designed for daily drivers and those looking for a modest performance boost, it's important to note that the improvements vary depending on the make and model of the car.
STAGE 2
Our stage 2 ECU remaps are a more advanced form of engine tuning, typically designed for vehicles that have undergone some hardware upgrades to go with the increased performance. Unlike our stage 1 remaps, which adjusts the car’s ECU settings within the parameters of stock components, a Stage 2 remap is optimised for vehicles with aftermarket modifications like a higher-flow exhaust system, upgraded air intake or intercooler to name a few.
Our stage 2 remap involves adjusting the ECU’s fuel delivery, ignition timing, boost pressure (for forced induction engines), and other perimeters to take full advantage of these upgraded components. The remap will push the engine further beyond its factory settings resulting in significant gains in horsepower, torque, and overall performance. These gains are often much more substantial than those achieved with a Stage 1 remap.
Our stage 2 ECU remap is ideal for drivers looking for a substantial performance boost. It typically requires a more in depth tuning process, involving a custom map specifically tailored to the individual setup of the car.
STAGE 3
Our stage 3 ECU remaps are a high performance engine tuning modification designed for cars that have undergone significant hardware upgrades to maximise power output. This level of engine tuning is typically intended for vehicles that have major modifications, such as a larger turbocharger, high-performance fuel injectors, motorsports exhaust systems, upgraded intercoolers, forged internals, and other specialised performance parts.
Our stage 3 remaps adjusts the engine’s ECU settings to extract the maximum potential from these modifications, pushing the engine well beyond the limits of stock or Stage 2 components. Key parameters like fuel delivery, ignition timing, turbo boost, and air/fuel ratio are finely tuned to work in harmony with the upgraded hardware. This results in substantial increases in horsepower and torque.
Our stage 3 remaps are typically only for serious enthusiasts looking to achieve the highest levels of performance. This kind of engine tuning is not recommended for daily drivers.
